Summer in Korea starts with the hottest month of all: June. However, the high temperature isn’t the moth’s only characteristic, as it is accompanied by plenty of rainfall. In Korea, this season is known as “Jangman”. Yet, a bit of rainfall is not enough to suppress the urge to enjoy and have fun, as there are many events and celebrations that take place which are exclusive only during the Summer. Though there are water gun festivals and other exclusives to cool down during the Summer, a hidden gem is the Hanok Village in Gyeongju.
